Anna's Essence
Hi there, I'm Anna, your local Albury-Wodonga Holistic therapist. I describe myself as a soul midwife, intuitive healer, and grounded liberator, and I incorporate these aspects into my counselling, breathwork, ice therapy, and massage.
This beautiful region instilled within me a lifelong love of the river and mountains, enchanting me with a love of my surroundings, whilst growing up on a family farm, I learned to be curious, kind, and real.
From my childhood years and onwards, I have been observant of animals and people, looking for patterns and connections between behaviours and choices. I became fascinated with life from a young age and questioned everything, always searching deeper within to reflect upon my observations. I have travelled and explored Australia and overseas and studied water and movement through the land for land management practices, my career stemmed from my curiosity about how and why things [life] work. After having children and dealing with separation, everything changed for me.
Navigating life and children and dealing with conflict, extreme stress, and anxiety, I developed PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). My life forced me to delve deeply into a journey of healing which encompassed learning how to navigate a more fulfilling, healthy balanced life than ever before. Finding my feet amidst these changes was a challenge, whilst still being a mum and managing life. After attending numerous sessions with a variety of therapists, each offered fragments of pieces to a missing puzzle, there wasn’t one therapist who offered the ultimate healing method for my journey.
I never gave up and I tried many modalities, yet, still without enough holistic support from the practitioners whom I saw, I found within me a determination to heal and create the VidaFlo healing method.
Every day, I implement these tools, no matter the challenges before me.
I created VidaFlo for people to feel supported in times of big challenges.
I have done the work; it was hard, it took consistency and a fair bit of energy (and truckloads of patience!), but I did the work and now, as a fully present, trauma- informed holistic therapist, I am here for my clients, and our beautiful community.
I want my clients to know they can create the change they need. And that I am here
for the development and success of their journeys.
What VidaFlo represents
The name VidaFlo holds special significance for me. It combines the names of my two grandmothers, Vida (meaning "life" in Spanish) and Flo (short for Florence which means “to bloom” or “to flower”) - creating the concept of life flow.
Both Vida and Flo were influential figures in my life, providing strength and nurturing. I cherish the idea of incorporating their names into my workspace, with a gentle intention to offer support and empowerment to my clients, to assist people in finding their authentic life flow.
Each person has a unique life flow, representing the state of effortlessly navigating life with a balance of heart, mind, and spirit.
Our life flow is delicate and can easily become disrupted, but with the right tools and knowledge, anyone can regain control and embrace life's flow.
